Jewelry collection inspired by the sinuosity and movement of the DELPHOS tunic created by the painter and designer Marino Fortuny and his wife Henriette Nigrin in 1909 and which revolutionized the world of fashion.
The name "Delphos" was inspired by the statue of the ancient Greek goddess that Fortuny saw in the Delphi Archaeological Museum. The tunic is characterized by its loose, pleated, seamless cut, and by being made of fine, translucent silk with a dye finish called "Delphos fold." This dyeing and pleating process results in an effect of subtle shadows and a golden shimmer that changes with movement. The Delphos tunic became an iconic garment of Belle Époque fashion and has been displayed in museums around the world as a work of art in itself.
